About Mfonmmabasi Ambrose
A Nigerian Web3 growth marketer, blockchain strategist, technical builder and entrepreneur, working at the intersection of blockchain, growth and community.
Mfonmmabasi Ambrose, professionally known as Web3Ambrose, is a Nigerian Web3 growth marketer, blockchain strategist, technical builder, entrepreneur and ecosystem operator. His career has developed around a deliberately hybrid skill set: understanding how blockchain products work, how communities behave, how markets are entered, and how distribution turns a product into an ecosystem.
Born in Nigeria on August 6, 2007, Ambrose is 19 years old as of September 2026. He began developing his commercial and technical instincts through trading, technology and online communities. His early exposure to Forex and cryptocurrency markets taught him risk management, market psychology, discipline and execution. He subsequently moved deeper into Web3, combining development work in Solidity and Rust with growth, marketing, business development and community leadership.
Across his Web3 career, Ambrose has contributed to projects spanning blockchain infrastructure, AI, payments, trading, gaming, NFTs, meme coins, consumer applications and ecosystem initiatives. His publicly documented project history includes technical work on Ikigai, Ikigai AI, Swifey AI, Spectrum, Spongy, PAD and Spungi, alongside growth and business roles across projects such as Trues Club, Flip, AquaCoin, Sosofi, AlphaCoin and Core.
His professional path has also included leadership and growth roles with Quai Network, Hoppr Studios, WEEX, Flip, Swifey AI, Spectrum and ProprAfrica, with a particular focus on African market development, ecosystem growth, partnerships, community building, events, developer engagement and user adoption.
Ambrose is also a founder. He founded Private Space Limited, later completing a stated ₦10 million exit in 2023, and built other ventures including Ambrose Trading Academy and Acrypt Signal Group. In 2026 he founded Ascend Africa Labs, a Web3 growth agency focused on helping blockchain companies enter, grow and build communities across African markets. The agency publicly announced reaching $5,000 in monthly recurring revenue within two months of launch.
His career is defined by the combination of technical understanding and distribution. He can approach a Web3 company from the perspective of a developer, growth strategist, marketer, community operator, business developer or founder. That combination is central to his work today and to his long-term goal of helping build the infrastructure, companies and communities that accelerate Africa’s participation in the global digital economy.

Conrad Challenge · 2021–2022
Team Fidelity — CyberTechnology & Security
Pegasus Schools, Eket, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria
Team members: IFEANYI ABRAHAM AJAYI, MFONMMA DIANABASI AMBROSE, GODSWILL GODWIN MONDAY, QUEEN INIOBONG JACKSON and RICHARD VICTOR.
Project: FWSB (Fake Wi-Fi Security Blocker), a cybersecurity concept focused on preventing information leakage caused by fake or compromised Wi-Fi networks.
The project was inspired by an incident involving a person who became a victim of internet fraud after mistakenly connecting to a fake Wi-Fi network while on summer vacation. The team identified the broader security problem and set out to develop a solution capable of protecting users from the risks associated with malicious wireless networks.
The journey was not easy. The team encountered technical and design challenges and had to change the architecture of FWSB during development in order to move the project forward and make the solution viable.
The Conrad Challenge experience became an early milestone in Ambrose’s development across technology, cybersecurity, teamwork, problem solving and entrepreneurship. The team’s experience reinforced the principle that ambitious problems can be approached through persistence, collaboration and disciplined execution.
